Award-Winning Singer-Songwriter Natalie Jean Releases New Country Single

Apr 12, 2022

"At the end of the day, the world is craving authenticity and that is what I bring to the table." – Natalie Jean

KENSINGTON, Md. - April 12, 2022 - PRLog -- Natalie Jean is excited to announce the much-anticipated release of her new Country single "Blocked".

Produced by Alexi Von Guggenberg, is readily available for purchase nationwide at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com, and various digital online stores. It is also available on all streaming platforms.

Says Natalie, "Blocked is a song that everyone can relate too. In the past three years, I know someone that has blocked something or someone out of their lives. Obviously, it is better to "agree to disagree", but sometimes that just doesn't work. Sometimes you reach that point where you must remove someone or that situation completely out of your life."

Natalie does not follow any guidelines or rules when she writes her music. She utilizes a vast array of genres when writing, trying to break down the barriers that usually constrict Country musicians. She stays true to herself writing and singing from her heart and soul, trying to create music that makes a difference, music that people can take to heart and feel connected to.

Natalie Jean is a Haitian singer/songwriter that specializes in Americana/Country music. She can sing in English, French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. Natalie Jean has been nominated for and won many awards for her music including 6 nominations at the 2021 Josie Music Awards, in which she won "World Artist of The Year". She has also won two gold medals at the Global Music Awards. Most recently, she won Americana Artist of The Year at the 2021 Indie Music Channel Awards. Also, she won Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting for her song "I Told You No" in the Great American Songwriting Contest in the Adult Contemporary Category.

‘I’m terrified’: AI comes for Southeast Asia’s graduate jobs

Nafeesa Azman has applied for hundreds of jobs over the past two months, yet the 24-year-old Malaysian marketing graduate is yet to find a permanent role that pays what she needs or uses the skills she spent years, and a good deal of money, developing. Natthanicha Intawong, a final-year media arts student in Bangkok, describes the terror many of her peers feel as they prepare to enter a jobs market that artificial intelligence is already beginning to scythe through. China helps dismantle major meth trafficking network in Southeast Asia

China has broken up a major transnational drug trafficking network in cooperation with Indonesia and Malaysia, seizing around 1.2 tonnes of liquid methamphetamine, China’s Ministry of Public Security said on Friday. The operation was carried out on October 21 by Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency (BNN), which raided and shut down a large-scale drug processing and purification facility in Aceh, Indonesia, and arrested 11 people, with help from China’s National Narcotics Control Commission...

Why the Philippines remains a hotspot for transnational drug syndicates

Transnational drug syndicates in the Philippines continue to thrive despite decades of crackdowns targeting street-level dealers, with analysts warning that regional suppliers, financiers and trafficking networks have largely eluded enforcement efforts. Former drug officials and security analysts say the country’s drug trade remains closely connected to a wider regional supply chain, with criminal groups relying on local partners, maritime routes and established distribution networks to move...

Will diversifying fuel imports be enough to fix Indonesia’s energy shortfall?

Indonesia is looking beyond Singapore for petrol supplies as it seeks to reduce its dependence on a single source, but analysts say diversifying imports will do little to address the country’s fuel production shortfall without faster refinery modernisation and investment in alternative fuels. Indonesia has long sourced petroleum products from Singapore, including RON 90 petrol, which has a minimum octane rating of 90 and is marketed domestically as Pertalite. Singapore’s geographic proximity,...

Toxic online subcultures fuelling Asia’s school attacks

Recent school attacks across Malaysia have shone a light on a troubling trend of teenagers joining an online subculture that glamorises real-life killers, according to a prominent security analyst. Three violent incidents in Malaysian schools – in Kuching on October 21, Banting in July and Bandar Utama in October last year – could be linked to the True Crime Community (TCC), said Munira Mustaffa, founder of Kuala Lumpur-based security consulting firm Chasseur Group. In the Kuching case, the...

Roblox hands Fave founder Joel Neoh the keys to SEA. His first job isn’t growth, it’s trust

Joel Neoh has spent two decades selling things to adults: group-buying deals at Groupon, cashback at Fave, DNA kits and supplements at Prenetics. His new job asks him to build a business on a platform where a large slice of the audience still needs a parent’s permission to buy anything. North Korea’s hiring scam just cost Binance US$6.3B. SEA’s engineers are on the shortlist

For years, Southeast Asia’s crypto regulators have asked exchanges the same set of questions. Where is your licence? Where is your local entity? Where are your cold wallets, and whose name is on them? On October 29, North Korea answered with a question of its own: whose laptop is this? Saviour or stopgap? Malaysia’s South Korean jets arrive to relieve ageing fighters

Malaysia received its first South Korean-made light combat jet on Friday under a nearly 4 billion ringgit (US$990 million) procurement, in what analysts describe as welcome relief for an ageing air force still years away from replacing its frontline fighters. The FA-50M Block 20 jet arrived at the air force base in Labuan, off Borneo, with a second expected in Kuantan on the peninsula’s east coast next Monday. They are the first of 18 aircraft ordered from Korea Aerospace Industries under a deal...

The same month, about 57.8 million people in Indonesia were inhaling unhealthy to hazardous air, said the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), a Helsinki-based think tank. “Worsening air quality due to forest and land fires in Indonesia pushed the estimated death toll to 3,560 cases in September 2026,...

Bitcoin fell 4.87 per cent to US$77,037.20 in 24 hours and underperformed a broadly weaker crypto sector. A confirmed security incident at Binance on October 29 triggered the drop. That shock arrived against a 65 per cent correlation with the S&P 500. Macro risk aversion had already set a defensive tone.
